Archaeology
Archaeology is the study of past human cultures and societies through investigating the material remains left behind. There are two main broad categories of archaeology, prehistoric and historic. Pictured at left are North American Woodland Phase projectile points.
Paleoanthropology is another fascination of mine. I especially am fond of Neanderthals, and have written my senior thesis on the Neanderthal and Early Homo sapiens complex from the Levant, where it is my argument that the two met and mingled, sharing culture, technology and genes. My powerpoint presentation is below if you care to download it.
