I proudly visited this wonderful presidential museum in Springfield, Illinois in January, 2007. I just found the ticket while going through some things. This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.

I had a thoroughly good time at my brother Bernie's house in Wisconsin. Apart from the horrible mosquitoes, everything was great there. His apartment is like an art museum, has 5 bedrooms and two cars an one acre of land.
I have for sale the following three items in an Ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=180542999635&Category=3383&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2#ht_500wt_1154
I took these photos in 1981, January, on my visit there. Pictured here are photos from the area of "Thebes": on the east bank of the Nile River is the Temple of Luxor, crossing the Nile on "felucca boat", we get to the 20 meter tall statues of Amenhotep III, aka "The Colossi of Memnon". From there, we make it to the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and a nice inscription chronicling the expedition to the "Land of Punt". Not bad photography for a 15 year old.
I had a nice visit in Iowa with my family, and said good bye to Becca, Becky, Max and Deryl. Back to Joliet now.
